In Comilla District Muradnagar Upazila on 12/11/23 (Sunday) mobile court was conducted in accordance with Balumhal and Soil Management Act 2010 at Bhavanipur of No. 10 Jatrapur Union and Kagatua and Gazipur of No. 7 Bangra West Union.
Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Nasreen Sultana Nipa managed the mobile court.
During this time, 7 illegal dredger machines and approximately 22,000 feet long pipes were destroyed as they were not transportable. Officials in charge of Muradnagar and Bangra Bazar police stations and Ansar forces provided legal assistance in the operation. A regular case is in process of filing against the accused. This campaign and efforts of Muradnagar upazila administration will continue to protect agricultural land.
