Driver Balaram Burman (55) died after losing control of a battery-operated auto-rickshaw and overturning in Kaliganj of Lalmonirhat.
The accident took place at Sialkhwa Holmor area of ​​Goral Union of the upazila around noon on Sunday (October 8).
The deceased was a resident of Chandrapat Babupara village in Kamalbari union of Aditmari upazila of Balram Burman district. Eyewitnesses said that Balaram Barman runs the family by driving rickshaws on rent.
Like every day, he was coming to the local Sialkhwa Halmode by autorickshaw on Sunday. A dog suddenly ran in front of the autorickshaw on the way.
While trying to save the dog, the autorickshaw lost control and overturned. The driver Balram Burman died on the spot after suffering a severe head injury. In this regard, Kaliganj police station officer-in-charge (OC) Imtiaz Kabir confirmed the truth of the incident
