A seven-year-old child was abducted and killed to demand his release. Within 10 hours of a general diary related to Bancharampur police station on Monday morning, two kidnappers were arrested and the body of the abducted child was recovered by the police. This sensational incident took place in Sutkikandi village of Dariyadaulat UP under Bancharampur police station.

Bancharampur Model Police Station OC Md. Noore Alam said that a seven-year-old girl named Fateha Akhtar was missing and a general diary was filed at the police station on Monday morning by a resident of Sutkikandi village in Dariyadaulat UP. It is mentioned in the diary that on September 30, Bached Mia’s daughter Fateha Akhtar (07) left her grandfather’s house alone and did not return home. Later on Monday morning on October 2, the mother of the abducted child, Fateha, called Rumi Akhtar’s personal mobile number and demanded her daughter’s release. He also threatened to kill the child Fateha if she did not pay Rs 4 lakh for release by 10 pm and inform the police.

Bancharampur Model Police Station OC Md. Noore Alam informed Additional Superintendent of Police of Nabinagar Circle Md. Sirajul Islam about the general diary related to missing children. Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Sirajul Islam said that he was able to arrest the two abductors named Lajim and Alauddin in the fastest time by using information technology at the scene and was able to recover the body of the abducted child according to their confessional statements.

In this regard, Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Sirajul Islam also said, “We rushed to Sutkikandi village of Dariyadaulat UP under Bancharampur police station, paying attention to the issue of missing child.” At around 4:30 pm, a young man named Lajim was sitting near the victim’s house while using a mobile phone. At that time, he was questioned when he became suspicious and through the use of information technology, information was obtained from his mobile phone about the exchange of suspicious call lists and text messages related to Muktipan with a person named Alauddin. Later, when he was arrested and interrogated, he confessed everything. Lazeem and Alauddin kidnap the child Fateha for ransom. Child Fateha recognized both of them, strangled him to death and hid the body under the kachuripana in the Shutikikandi river near the house. Later they identified themselves as Kaviraj and demanded a ransom of four lakh rupees. He also threatened to kill the child if he did not give it by 10 pm or inform the police. Another accused Alauddin was arrested along with Lajim. According to the accused, the dead body of the victim Fateha Akhtar was recovered from under the Kachuripana in Shutkikandi river under Bancharampur police station on Monday around 8:30 pm. Lajim (18), son of Razzak Mia of Dariyadaulat village and Alauddin (21), son of Momin Mia of Shutkikandi village, were involved in the sensational incident. A case has been registered against them in the police station.
