On Monday, September 18, a free general health camp was held at Poonarba Technical and BM College premises in Rajarampur Union of Biral Upazila under the funding of Palli Karma Sahajik Foundation (PKSF) and organized by private development organization Pallishri Samriddhi Program. In the camp (Gynecology, Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Medicine) patients are provided with free medical care by specialist doctors along with prescriptions. 269 poor patients were treated by Dr. Mostarina Begum Sumi MBBS, BCS(Health), DGO (Gynecology and Obstetrics), Gynecologist, Gynecology and Obstetrics Specialist and Surgeon M Abdur Rahim Medical College, Dinajpur and Dr. Naushad Alam Siddique MBBS, BCS (Health) Medical Officer, M Abdur Rahim Medical College Hospital Dinajpur. Abu Bakr Siddique Principal Punarbha Technical & BM College Rajarampur, Birol, Dinajpur came to visit the health camp. In the said camp, the doctors told the patients to always follow the doctor’s advice and take the medicine regularly as per the instructions, then it is possible to recover quickly. In addition to the health activities of Pallishri, this union has a union health complex, community clinic and mother and child welfare center, and various types of medicines are provided along with general treatment. You can also get services from there. The doctors and guests also told the common people that if Kabirajhi is not treated, there will be various problems and life risks, so always see a regular doctor. At present, follow the instructions of the health department of the government to protect against dengue. He also advised everyone to use masks and advised everyone to take all doses of corona vaccine. It is also said to the patients who come to the camp that the seasonal weather is changing, so always be clean, keep clean around the house and do not store water in any place or container for 2-3 days because dengue mosquitoes are born in clean accumulated water. The guests said in the discussion that no other organization provides health services to the common people of Rajarampur Union through Samriddhi program, so they thanked Pallishri. Md. Rezaul Karim, Program Coordinator of Samriddhi Program Rajarampur, informed the guests about the camp and health activities of the program. Prosperity Health Officers Adiba Sharmin and Rozina Khatun played a special role in the implementation of the camp along with health workers, Social Development Officer Mamunur Rashid and Mr. Abul Kalam Azad, Unit Manager of Pallishri Rajarampur Unit’s Credit and Income Enhancement Program were present.
