Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed grief and sorrow over the death of Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader’s mezzo sister Ferdous Ara. In a condolence message, Sheikh Hasina sought forgiveness for the departed soul and expressed deep condolences to the bereaved family members. Earlier on Wednesday, Ferdous Ara died while undergoing treatment in a hospital in the capital. His Namaz Janaza will be held today after Maghrib at the deceased’s house in Merul Badda (House: 19; Road: 12; Rajuk Housing, Merul Badda, Dhaka). He left behind two sons and three daughters at the time of his death.
