Five Bangladeshi pilgrims died this year while performing Hajj in Saudi Arabia.  Five of the dead pilgrims were men. Three of them died in Holy Makkah and two in Holy Madinah.
 According to sources, the first person to die on Hajj this year was Kenduar Md. of Netrakona on May 15. Asaduzzaman (57), died on May 18, Bhola Sadar. Mostofa (89), died on May 21 of Nageshwari, Kurigram. Lutfar Rahman (65), died on May 23, Nawabganj, Dhaka. Murtazur Rahman Khan (65) and Fatepur of Chittagong district on May 23. Idris (64).
 Meanwhile, according to Saudi Arabian law, if a person dies while performing Hajj, his body is buried in Saudi Arabia. The body is not allowed to be taken to his home country. Even family objections are not entertained.
 It should be noted that this year’s Hajj will be held on June 16 subject to sighting of the moon. The flight of pilgrims to Saudi Arabia started last May 9. The flight will continue till June 10. The return flight will start on June 20 after Hajj. The return flight will end on July 22.
