Five leaders of Awami League have collected the party nomination form for Comilla 08 (Barura) constituency in the upcoming 12th National Assembly elections.
On November 18, Saturday morning at Bangabandhu Avenue Awami League’s central office, party president Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the sale of nomination forms by collecting nomination forms. Upazila Awami League President Naschimul Alam Chowdhury Nazrul, Former Navy Chief, Comilla District Council Ex-Chairman – Comilla D District Awami League Member and Barura Upazila Awami League Former President Rear Admiral Abu Taher, Comilla D District Awami League Vice President A ZM Shafiuddin Shamim , Comilla District Awami League Organizing Secretary and Barura Upazila Awami League Vice President AHM Kamrul Islam, Barura Upazila Parishad Chairman ANM Mainul Islam have collected party nomination forms. Candidates interested in getting nomination of Awami League can collect and submit the party nomination form from 10 am to 4 pm on Tuesday 21st November. From tea parties in Barura to the 12th National Assembly elections, there is a buzz everywhere as to who will be the boatman of Barura.
