In the speech of the chief guest, BFUJ president M Abdullah said that this government has handed over the mass media to a few miscreants. DFP has 10 institutions under Ministry of Information which have ex-officio members of BFUJ. But this government violated that law and made party people members of those institutions. He said, if the organization is strong, everyone will appreciate you. You have to leave your own likes and dislikes and work for the Journalist Union. BFUZ Secretary General Nurul Amin Rokan said that today’s media law is very dangerous for journalists. Journalist society has not accepted any guest rule and will not accept it again. This law has been made so that the journalists cannot show the picture of looting and corruption of the government. We have to stand and protest against these art laws. There is no alternative to struggle. “We are going through a tough time,” the vice president said. I will be free from this situation soon. You have a little patience. In the meeting, he called for the unity of the journalists.
