15 Bangladeshis rescued from hideout of human traffickers in Teknaf Mohammad

Aman Ullah, Cox’s Bazar. The BGB and the police rescued 15 Bangladeshis during a raid on the hideout of organized human traffickers in Cox’s Bazar’s Teknaf last Tuesday (September 20). Teknaf 2BGB battalion captain Lt. Col. Sheikh Khalid Mohammad Iftekhar said that based on the secret information of his own intelligence agency, 15 Bangladeshis have been gathered at the house of deceased Nazir Ahmed’s son Jamal Hossain (55) in Naitongpara of Teknaf municipality for the purpose of smuggling to Malaysia. On the basis of such information, 15 Bangladeshi nationals who were gathered from Jamal Hossain’s house for the purpose of smuggling to Malaysia were rescued by the joint forces of BGB and police at 9 o’clock in the night. Meanwhile, Jamal Hossain, the leader of the human trafficking group, escaped with his associates on sensing the presence of the law and order forces.
