Ishwarganj, there is a complaint that LGED paved road trees were cut down claiming private ownership

Anwar Sadat Jahangir: In Moriacharchar village of Uchakhila Union in Ishwarganj, Mymensingh, there has been a complaint of cutting down trees worth lakhs of rupees from the paved road of LGED claiming ownership.
Following the complaints of local residents, it was found that 3 raintree trees worth lakhs of taka in front of Kamrul’s house in Morichachar village on Uchakhila-Chamkiar Bazar road have been cut down.
In this regard, Kamrul Islam, who is working in the Border Guard Bangladesh BGB, said on the mobile phone, “We have sold the trees planted by us on the side of the road for Tk 100,000. Previously, no one stopped us from cutting larger trees than this.” Even many others including Kazim Uddin who came from the neighborhood cut down 15-20 trees and no one complained against them.
He also knows that my house was stolen a few days ago. Goods worth lakhs of rupees including cash were stolen. Also, 8 cows were stolen from different houses, including 3 of Abul Munsmur in the area. One person was arrested after complaining to the police. The original Hutas of this thief have been making various complaints against us.
In this regard, UP Chairman Anwarul Hasan Khan Salim said, after learning about the matter, the council has banned the cutting of trees. Tehsildar Ramendra Narayan of Uchakhila said that cutting of trees has been prohibited after receiving information.
UNO Hafiza Jasmine and Assistant Commissioner (Land) Mahabubur Rahman confirmed the truth of the complaint and said that necessary action will be taken in this regard.
