Rajapur in 30 families got houses with dream address land 


Rajapur (Jhalkathi) Correspondent: Keys and documents of houses have been handed over among 30 more land and homeless families under the government’s shelter project in Rajapur of Jhalkathi. On the occasion of the birth centenary of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu, these houses were handed over to the homeless as a “Gift of Sheikh Hasina’s Right to Shelter”. On Thursday (July 21), Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina joined a virtual video conference from the Ganabhaban and auspiciously raised the auspiciousness of handing over land and houses among these homeless people. 30 families in Rajapur upazila were handed over the keys of newly constructed semi-paved houses with 2 hundredths of land under the 2nd phase of the 3rd phase under Asrayan-2 project. Rajapur Upazila Executive Officer Nusrat Jahan Khan was present at this time along with Additional Magistrate of Jhalkathi District Latifa Jannati, Upazila Chairman Principal Md. Moniruuzzaman, Assistant Superintendent of Police (Rajapur Circle) Md. Masud Rana, Police Officer-in-Charge Pulak Chandra Roy, Assistant Commissioner Bhumi Anuja Mondal. Local dignitaries including government officials, public representatives and beneficiaries were present. It is to be noted that under Asharyan Project-2 in this upazila in the 1st, 2nd and 3rd stages (1st stage), a total of 420 landless and homeless families were handed over houses with land.
