Own reporter: Like all over the country, the inauguration ceremony of Padma Bridge has been held with due dignity through various programs organized by Rajshahi district administration. On the occasion of the inauguration of the dream Padma Bridge, a colorful procession from the city’s Shaheed AHM Kamaruzzaman Chattar on Saturday morning went around the main roads of the city and ended at the Liberation War Memorial Stadium. According to the locals, the procession organized by the district administration is the biggest parade in the district. About ten thousand people were present in this procession which was about two kilometers long. The presence of women officials of the district administration in the procession has created a new dimension. After the procession, people of different professions enjoyed the inauguration of the Padma Bridge on the big screen at the Liberation War Memorial Stadium.
