Joy procession at Padma Bridge, Kuakata awaiting inauguration

Ahead of the auspicious inauguration of the dream Padma Bridge on June 25 this month, Kuakata Municipality and various organizations involved in the tourism business have organized a joyous procession thanking the country’s successful state leader Sheikh Hasina.
On Wednesday (June 22) at 10 am a joyous procession was taken out from the office of Kuakata Municipality led by Municipal Mayor Anwar Hawladar.
The procession went around various important places of the municipal city, came back to the Kuakata municipality office and turned into a street rally and ended with the distribution of sweets.
Also present were Mayor of Kuakata Municipality Anwar Hawlader, Organizing Secretary of Kuakata Municipal Awami League and President of Hotel Motel Owners Association Shah Alam Hawlader, Organizing Secretary of Kuakata Municipal Awami League Mahabub, President of Kuakata Television Journalist Forum Anwar Hossain Anuer, General Secretary Motaleb Sharif, Kuakata Bhuiyan Market President Nizam Hawlader, Kuakata Municipal Volunteer League President & Panel Mayor Shahid Dewan, General Secretary Milon Pahlan, Municipal Councilor Mojibur Rahman, Monir Sharif, Twak General Secretary KM Zaheer, Tour Guide President KM Khachu, Tour Guide President KM Bachu Leaders of various political and voluntary organizations including Kalim Mahmud, General Secretary of Malik Samiti.
Meanwhile, Municipal Mayor Anwar Hawlader said, “The distance between dreams and reality is only a few days. On June 25, the Prime Minister will officially inaugurate the Padma Bridge, a dream of 160 million people. On behalf of all the people of this Padma Bridge-Kuakata, I would like to express my gratitude and appreciation to the Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on behalf of all the people of Kuakata.
He further said that the biggest benefit of the inauguration of Padma Bridge will be enjoyed by the people of Kuakata. This will create immense potential in the tourism industry in Kuakata.
