Closing of Bangabandhu and Bangamata Gold Cup Primary School Football Tournament at Pabaya Upazila level

Rajshahi Own Reporte: The concluding and prize distribution of Bangabandhu Gold Cup and Bangamata Begum Fazilatunnesa Mujib Gold Cup Primary School Football Tournament-2022 has been held at Paba Upazila of Rajshahi. The closing ceremony and prize distribution was held at the Duari Government Primary School ground premises on Wednesday (June 22) organized by the Upazila Administration and Primary Education Department. President of the program and Upazila Nirbahi Officer Lasmi Chakma distributed prizes from those present at the closing game. Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Mosa was present as a guest at the time. Arjia Begum and Md. Wazed Ali Khan, Upazila Youth Development Officer MN Zahurul Islam, 5th Ward Councilor Mokhlesur Rahman. Paba Upazila Education Officer welcomed the closing game. Rafiqul Islam. Also present were Assistant Education Officers Zobaida Khanam, Rosie Khandaker, Runa Laila, Cameron Nesha, Headmaster of Duari Government Primary School, SM Shisapara Government Primary School Headmaster Kabir Uddin, Kukhandi Government Primary School Headmaster Shahida Sultana, Assistant Teachers Asaduzzaman, Mezbah Uddin, Nurunnabi Mollah, Manzur Rahman, Imrul Kayes. Teachers and students of different educational institutions, parents and officials of Upazila Administration and Education Department. Surman Ali, Nowsad Ali and Rabiul Islam were the referees and Ashraful Islam Ranju and Toha Yasin Sarkar were the referees. It is to be mentioned that the game was played at the union and municipality level of Paba upazila Ten groups of primary school boys and ten groups of girls participated. In the final match of Bangabandhu Gold Cup, the champion boy Damkura Primary team of Damkura Union defeated Duari Primary team of Naohata Municipality by 1-0. Bangamata Begum Fazilatunnesa Mujib is the champion in the Gold Cup final Girl Huzuripara Union’s Dharmahata Primary Team defeated Parila Union’s Chak Parila Primary Team 3-1 in Tribeca.
