When  Padma Bridge is inaugurated people of Faridpur will be able to work from home

With this dream bridge, 21 districts of the south-western part of the country will be directly connected with the capital Dhaka. .Besides, construction of expressway on Dhaka-Bhanga road has reduced the travel time on this route. With the launch of the bridge, the people of Faridpur area working in the capital will be able to work from their homes. Concerned people say that at present it takes more than five hours to reach Dhaka from Faridpur. .However, if the bridge is opened, the people of Faridpur will be able to reach the capital within two hoursFaridpur District Awami League President Shamim Haque said that if the Padma Bridge is opened, the social and business development of the people of Faridpur and the region will increase and the pressure of the people of this region on Dhaka will decrease as they do all kinds of business from home to officeBe able to manage activitiesMd. Jubayer Zakir, Organizing Secretary of Bangladesh Road Transport Workers Federation and President of Faridpur Motor Workers Union, said that with the opening of Padma Bridge, the people of Faridpur will be able to reach Dhaka in a very short time. At present it takes about an hour to reach Bhanga from Faridpur. .It takes about another hour to reach Kanthalbari from Bhanga. Normally the ferry takes two hours to cross (launch takes one hour). Later it takes another hour to reach Dhaka from Mawa. He said if the bridge is opened, it will be possible to reach Dhaka within two hours from Faridpur. .It will save more than three hours.
