Former MP Shah Jikrul Ahmed Khokon’s mourning rally held in Nabinagar


Nabinagar (Brahmanbaria) Correspondent: A mourning meeting has been held in the memory of late Shah Mukrul Jodha Advocate Shah Zikrul Ahmed Khokon, former MP of Brahmanbaria Nabinagar constituency.
Former Information Minister and Jasad Central Committee President Hasanul Haque Inu MP was present as the chief guest at the mourning meeting organized by Nabinagar Upazila branch of 14-party alliance at Nabinagar Government Pilot High School ground premises on Saturday afternoon.
Speaking as the chief guest, he said that the late Shah Jikrul Ahmed had fought for socialism in the spirit of freedom fighters, believing in the four principles of the state. Even after 50 years of independence, the country is not free from danger. We do not want a government supported by razakars.

Speakers said that this best child of the country demanded naming of roads or structures in the name of late freedom fighter Shah Zikrul Ahmed Khokon and drew the attention of the authorities for its implementation.

Former MP, late heroic freedom fighter Advocate Shah Zikrul Ahmed Khokon was vice-president of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal Jasad (Inu) Central Committee, former president of Bangladesh Taxes Bar Association and one of the organizers of Muktijoddha.
