Rakab’s debt of Rs 156 crore was recovered in the debt collection camp


Won Reporter: On 24th and 25th May 2022, the simultaneous loan collection camp has been successfully completed in all the branches of Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank (Rakab). Apart from loan collection in the camp, a significant amount of loan was disbursed through various accounts including collection of new deposits of around Tk. 20 crore. The collection of Tk. The two-day loan recovery camp was attended by senior executives of the bank and zonal managers of different zones. In addition to bringing dynamism in debt collection and deposit collection, the government has introduced online banking (CBS), RTGS, Bangladesh Electronic Funds Transfer, Automated Invoice Process (A-Invoice) and Zaghaj Idhasharham in all the 373 branches of Rakab to build Digital Bangladesh. In continuation of this, mobile banking and internet banking has been introduced in Rakab from March 23, 2022 with the aim of bringing digital banking services in the hands of marginal farmers and the general public in the north-western part of the country. As a result, customers can now avail various banking services including transactions at any time while sitting at home. The bank management hopes that with the gradual growth of loan collection, deposit collection and digital banking services, Rakab will be able to achieve the desired target in all parameters by the end of June 2022.
