Forest fish tigers in human cages


Moynul Bhuiyan,Reporter: A fish tiger has been rescued from Ganganagar village in Kuti union of Kasba upazila of Brahmanbaria. The tiger that was rescued from the bush by the pond on Tuesday afternoon has been kept in a cage. Md. Ganganagar village. Humayun Bhuiyan’s son Md. Zafar Bhuiyan said that around noon, three fish tiger cubs were spotted in the bush by the pond. At one point the little boys and girls chased and caught one. They wanted to beat the chickens because they ate them. After persuading them, the baby was brought home and kept in a cage. People are crowding the house to see it. Kasba Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Masud-ul-Alam said, “We have received news that a fish tiger cub has been caught. Arrangements will be made to release the tiger cub through the forest department.
