Two robbers with domestic pipe guns and one round of ammunition were arrested in Kulaura


Kulaura Moulvibazar  Representative : Kulaura police have arrested two gang members with domestic weapons in the border area of ​​Kulaura in Moulvibazar. They were detained in a special operation in Bagjur area of ​​Sharifpur union of the upazila around 11pm on Sunday (July 19). According to the police, Additional Superintendent of Police (Kulaura Circle) Sadek Kawsar Dastagir, Officer-in-Charge of Kulaura Police Station Yardous Hasan, OC (Investigation) and a group of police officers were arrested in the village. Mahmud Ali alias Liton, 35, and Abdus Chattar Raju, 30, son of Bashir Miah of Srimatpur village in Kamalganj upazila, are active members of the inter-district robber gang and accused in multiple robbery cases. A domestic pipe gun and one round of ammunition were recovered. The rest sensed the presence of the police and fled. Six to seven others, including two detainees, were preparing to rob a house in the neighboring Indian part of the Sharifpur union bordering Kulaura. Kulaura Police Station OC Yardous Hasan confirmed the incident and said there were several robbery cases against two robbers arrested with weapons in different police stations in the district.
