The district police super Md Saiful Islam Janakantha confirmed the authenticity of the information on Tuesday morning.
According to the reliable sources of the district police, a total of 1,850 candidates took part in the selection for the constable position in Barisal Police Lines on June 1 by depositing only one hundred taka in the government treasury. After primary picking, 609 people were selected to participate in written exams after passing physical examinations and medical examinations. After taking part in the written test on June 2, 123 passed out on results published on June 4. After the final examination of 6th June, 44 candidates were finally elected. Of these, 13 women and 31 are male.
Ultimately, the elected people told Janakantha, but there is a rule to deposit 103 rupees in the official treasury, but we have deposited 100 taka. For all the candidates, the district superintendent of police submitted himself three taka. They expressed their gratitude to the government for getting jobs without any illegal transactions.
District Superintendent of Police Mohammad Saiful Islam said that all 123 people passed in written examination were qualified. Still, 44 people were finally elected by adopting the strict admonition of Police Head Quarters and adopting the utmost caution.
