Three fake journalists arrested including ‘false’ TV cameras in Patiya

Chittagong bureau:Patiya police arrested three persons of ‘false TV Citizen Crime’ they are: Shahedul Islam Sagar (30), RatanBarua (43) and driver Anwar Hossain (33). Patiya Police Station OC (Investigation)When police went to RezaulKarimMajumder and demanded the extortion, the police arrested three people including the driver and put them in jail. At that time, a vehicle (Chatmetro C- 12-6582) fitted with Prosox GL brand CTG crime sticker and ID card, video camera, mobile, several vigilant cards were recovered.Police said that extortion has been started from different sectors by introducing various online portal news, including fake CTG crime TV in different upazilas of Patiya and South Chittagong. Social media has released scandalous news and video footage on Facebook and CTG Crime’s online portal when someone fails to donate. On Tuesday, on Sunday, police arrested three people, including a driver, for extortion to Patiya Police Station OC (investigation) RezaulKarim. Patiya Press Club president Harunur Rashid Siddiqui said that real journalists are embarrassed in different ways due to false newsmen. Vuara is threatening and extortion in regular public and private institutions. He urged the administration to immediately take action against them.Patiya Police Station OC Sheikh Md. GolamUllah said, various online and fake TV advertisers of fake publicity at various government institutions have been extorting. Along with the common people, they are also niggling policepreparing to file a case against Patiya Police Station OC (investigation) RezaulKarimMajumder plaintiff against them due to extortion and threats.
