Project of IMO and Industries Ministry a safe and environmentally friendly shipyard will be in Sitakunda

In order to make Ship breaking Yards safe and environment friendly in Sitakundu, a project was taken jointly by IMO and Industries Ministry of Bangladesh. Norway will fund this On Sunday, a team of exchange talks with the concerned people of Bhatiari Golf Club area after visiting the two Ship breaking Yards of Sitakund to investigate the possibility of Sunday. It is expected to develop at least six ship breaking yards as safe-green yards in the next 2 years. The meeting was the chief guest at the meeting

Chief Industries Secretary Md. Abdul Halim. Bangladesh Ship breaking and Recycling Association chairmanship Ambassador of the Embassy of Norway, HMS Syschel Blakeen, spoke in the chairmanship of Abu Taher in the chairmanship of PHP Group Director Jahirul Islam Rinku. Joint Secretary Yasmin Sultana, Mizanur Rahman, BSBRA Vice President Amjad Hossain Chowdhury, Senior Advisor of Norway Ambassador Morshed Ahmed, IMO Project Coordinator Jan Sun and other prominent industrialists and class-persons of the upazila were present on the occasion. Earlier this morning, TR Ship breaking Yard and PHP Ship breaking Yard visited the above guests.
