Haji Iqbal, the main accused in the murder case of Jubo League activist Mohiuddin, was released on bail

He was released from Chittagong Central Jail at around 11:30 am on Monday. Deputy Commissioner of Chittagong Central Jail Fakhruddin said, Haji Iqbal got bail from High Court. The order came to the jail on Sunday afternoon. He was released yesterday .
Haji Iqbal was once the organizing secretary of the Awami League of Bandar thana. He was expelled eight years ago for disciplining the party. But he gave his identity only as Awami League leader.
In the meantime, on 26 March, the attack on Jubo League activist Mohiuddin was attacked during the preparatory meeting of former students of Halishahar Meher Afal High School reunion program. Mohiuddin was hacked with sharp weapons. Haji Iqbal, his brother Murad filed the case with the accused and Mohiuddin’s mother Nur Nesar Begum was killed in the incident. Harunur Rashid, Bakhtiar Alam Prince and the Sagar court, three accused arrested in the case said in the confessional confession that Mohiuddin was murdered for opposing Haji Iqbal and giving him status on Facebook. The three accused, who confessed to being involved in murder and described the incident, said.
Bandar thana police on July 22 filed a chargesheet in court against Haji Iqbal, his brother, son, daughter, Jamie, 20. After the court surrendered on September 10, the court sent Haji Iqbal to jail.
