Bangladesh has fully taken ownership of Bangabandhu Satellite-1 from Thalass Alenia Space in France today.
From now on, complete satellite satellites will be operated under Bangladesh Communication Satellite Company Limited (BCSCL). In the BCSCL office in Dhaka, the owner of the company, Thales Alenya Space, Bangabandhu Satellite, France, fully understand the ownership of Bangladesh. The title sponsorship of the satellite is handed over to the BTRC first and later the title sponsor to the BTRC BCSCL. Earlier on Wednesday a meeting was held on satellite transfers .Postal Telecommunication and Information Technology Minister Mustafa Jabber Chairman of the BCSCL Board Among others.

In context, Bangabandhu satellites were launched in space on May 11 this year. After launch, it reached 119.9 degrees in orbit. Since the launch, the satellite has shown many successes. Through this, the clean championship was broadcast live in Dhaka in September this year and Bangladesh Television directly broadcasting the Asia Cup Cricket in Dubai.
