Police have arrested seven people including Chakaria Upazila BNP president and former UP chairman Mizanur Rahman Chowdhury Khokan Mia, along with a note and a sticky letter written to end the Chittagong-Cox’s Bazar highway with the destruction of the eleventh parliament election schedule. The names of the six others detained, as the police are in operation, cannot be known. They were arrested from Dulhajara upazila on Wednesday night. Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police of Chakaria Circle Kazi Matiul Islam said a group of police in the police raided Dulhaajara on secret information. On Thursday, the announcements of the schedule for the parliament elections, seven people were arrested along with a memorial plan and a stick and sticks, including BNP president Khokan Mia. Police teams have multiple team operations to arrest potential workers who may be able to sabotage as well as strengthen the police patrol in the whole upazila after arresting them, if the note reached the unions and ward-level activists, they might have widespread sabotage.
