Three petrol bombs hurled at the office of Manikchhari Awami League

Miscreants have hit three petrol bombs targeting the Awami League office at Manikchari in Khagrachori. But there was no damage. The incident occurred on Sunday evening at 7pm. There is a blast between the 3 petrol bombs thrown. Officer-in-charge of Manikchhari Police Station OC Abdur Rashid confirmed the news.
Meanwhile, news of the bombing of the party office was spreading anger and agitation among leaders and workers. Angry activists immediately took out a procession in Manikchari protesting the incident.
According to the police and party sources, on Sunday night, around 3-4 motorcycle masks from the Amtali of Upazila Sadar, miscreants left the petrol bombs and immediately escaped after throwing 3 petrol bombs targeting the office of Awami League. A bomb exploded in it. Police rushed to the spot after the news of the incident. Police recovered two unexploded petrol bombs from the spot. Later the army went to the scene.
The police could not immediately inform the police, who for some reason had thrown petrol bombs targeting the Awami League office. Officer-in-Charge of Manikchhari Police Abdur Rashid said, they went to the spot after hearing about the incident. He said police started the operation to find out those involved in the incident.
Meanwhile, protesters of the BCL and Awami League activists and supporters came out in protest against the bomb blasts in front of the party office. Upazila Awami League convened a rally in Manikchhari on Monday in protest against the incident.
