The ownership of the land in the hill areas will be in the hands of the people, said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. He said, under British law, land law dispute settlement will be done under domestic law. He said this while inaugurating the Chittagong Hill Tracts Complex, Sheikh Hasina, which was built around 2 acres of land at Bailey Road in the city on Sunday afternoon. Sheikh Hasina said that the public service commission has been asked to give preference to minor ethnic groups if the quota system is canceled. He also said that there should be peaceful environment in the hill areas. If not, then development cannot be done.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the inauguration of cultural exchange, cooperation and harmony of the people of the hill areas with the people of the region. He said, the way the country’s development works are being done separately, special work is being done in the hill areas.
Referring to the land dispute, the land dispute will be settled in the hill region, he said, to cooperate with the Land Commission. The government will have priority for small ethnic groups if the job vacancy process is canceled, but the Prime Minister said. Talking about the prospects of peace in the hills, the Prime Minister said, the Prime Minister said that prosperity will be achieved through the path of peace. Most of the Shariah treaty has been implemented, and the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has urged the regional council to form a project for the development of the region.
