Australia can recognize Jerusalem as Israeli capital: Morrison

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison wants to walk on the path of US President Donald Trump on  the recognition of Jerusalem. He said that Australia will think of recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Along with this, it would be considered to move away from the Israeli capital of Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. But before making any kind of decision, Morrison said he would be discussing with his cabinet and other countries. Opposition called it a hoax. These are known from British media’s BBC report. Earlier, Maurison’s predecessor and former Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull refused to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. On December 6, 2016, the United States President Donald Trump announced the decision of accepting US recognition as Jerusalem’s capital on December 6, He also announced the removal of the US embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. According to the announcement, the US embassy was moved to Jerusalem last May. There has been a storm of protest and protests around the world.
