Case filed: On August 22, the police filed a case against Motijheel Police Station on the day after the incident of brutal and brutal grenade attack. The plaintiff of the case, Sub-Inspector (SI) Sharif Faruque Ahmed of Motijheel thana police of that time said.
Complaint: After four years of the incident, charge sheet was given on 9th June 2008. The petition was further ordered to investigate the case on August 12, 2009. After the investigation, the supplementary charge sheet was given on July 2, 2011.
Complaint Form: The allegation was made in light of the first chargesheet on September 29, 2008. After completing supplementary charges, the allegation was made on March 18, 2012.
Number of accused: A case is filed against several cases including murder, attempt to murder, conspiracy and other cases in the incident so that the number of accused in the case is 52 (already 49 accused in the case of execution of three accused in another case) In the same case, in the second case of the Explosive Substances Act of 1908 (Amendment – 2002) 38 people accused in another case. In the case of murder, attempt to murder, conspiracy, help in the incident, 52 accused are accused in the case – 38 of the accused are accused in both cases. Of these, 49 are accused in the murder case and 38 accused in the case of the Explosive Act.
Start trial: On July 9, 2012, the testimonies and cross-examination in the case ended on 30 May of 2017.
Witness Number: In this case, 225 witnesses testify in court to the state. The defendants examined the witnesses. On May 30 last year, the investigation officer of the case (IO) ended the testimonies of CID Special Superintendent of Police Abdul Kahar Akhand. On the other hand, 20 defendants testify to the defendants. The prosecution has questioned them.
