150 teachers and researchers taking part

International Conference on ‘Rethinking Development in South Asia, 2018’ is going to be held from Sunday in Chittagong University (CU) by the initiative of Sociology Research Institute. It is said at the press conference that 150 international teachers and researchers from across the country and abroad will participate in the international conference to be held on Sunday, among which 20 researchers from America, China, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Thailand and Nepal will take part. After the formation of the Sociology Research Institute in 1999, this is the first time any international conference is being held. This conference will remove the isolation between academia and development professionals in South Asia’s development.
Besides, networking with teachers and students will lead to the creation of a bridge between networking and South Asian countries. He also said, 80 essays will be presented from the participants of the international conference. Parallel sessions will be held in 12 panels on a daily basis in two day International Conference. The South Asian Development Forum will be formed with the development researchers on the closing day of the conference. In addition, the publication of three research paper compositions from the Social Sciences Research Institute was also communicated.
