Import-export restored at Akhaura port

After the two-day shutdown due to internal conflicts in India’s Tripura state of Agartala, import and export again started at Akhaura land port of Brahmanbaria. In the meantime, Khokon Bhamim moved to Bangladesh to work as businessman.
In this, the partners were furious and locked their business establishments on Wednesday morning. Besides, imported fish, stones and cotton, imported from Bangladesh, have stuck different products at the main gate of the port. Agartala businessmen of the country, on Wednesday, demanded Tk 22 lakh 5 thousand 9 taka to enter the market at 7:30 am on Wednesday. But by that time all the fish were wasted. In Agartala from Saturday morning till the end of all the trouble including political, the indefinitely stop exports of fish products.
