Awami League’s Secretary General and Roads, Transports, Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader has said that no disorder inside Awami League would be tolerated. Actions have been already started against the unruly leaders and activists who breach the party’s discipline, he added.

Obaidul Quader made these remarks on Saturday morning at Tangail on his way to Nilphamari. He said to the leaders and activists of Awami League “Do not commit any chaos. Do not try to build up a house inside another house. Do not set up one mosquito net on top of another.

Sheikh Hasina’s action is direct action.” Show-cause letters to certain Awami League leaders and workers would be dispatched within next three days to Dinajpur, Rajshahi, Barguna and Sylhet, Obaidul Quader informed.

Obaidul Quader also said that a Dhaka-Tangail special train for office-bound people would be soon launched. He urged everyone to stay united and to reelect Awami League in the forthcoming polls.

The program was also addressed by Awami League leaders Jahangir Kabir Nanak, Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury, BM Mozammel Haque, Ahmad Hossain, Dr. Hasan Mahmud, Asim Kumar Ukil, Barrister Biplob Barua and some other senior party members.
