2,000 families receive iftar items through the initiative of Late Ali Akbar Khan Memorial Foundation

Iftar items have been distributed among nearly 2,000 extremely poor families in 16 villages of Budhanti Union, under the initiative of the Late Ali Akbar Khan Memorial Foundation and funded by the founder and president of the foundation, prominent Saudi Arabian expatriate businessman Md. Nurul Amin Khan.
The inaugural ceremony of the Iftar distribution program was held at the Birpasha Eidgah ground in Budhanti Union of Bijoynagar Upazila on Saturday afternoon.
Abdul Quddus Khan Master delivered the welcome speech on behalf of the Late Ali Akbar Khan Memorial Foundation.
Former Brahmanbaria District BNP Vice-President Advocate Golam Sarwar Khokon was present as the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony of the distribution of iftar items organized under the chairmanship of Budhanti Union BNP President Md. Mahbubur Alam Sardar and moderated by Budhanti Union Chhatra Dal President Anwar Hossain Nayan.
Present as special guests were Bijoynagar Upazila BNP President Jamir Hossain Dastagir, General Secretary Advocate Imam Hossain, former Expatriate Welfare Secretary of the District BNP Nurul Huda, Upazila BNP members Mohammad Ali, Abdur Sattar, Budhanti Union BNP Vice President Nur Mohammad Abu, Joint General Secretary Sayed Mia, Budhanti Union Jubo Dal President Kamal Hossain, Upazila Mohila Dal leader Shiuli Chowdhury, etc.
A group of young volunteers, led by Hamidullah Khan, the Bangladesh representative of the Late Ali Akbar Khan Memorial Foundation, were engaged in implementing this work.
It is worth noting that the late Ali Akbar Khan Memorial Foundation, founded in the name of the father of prominent Saudi Arabian expatriate businessman Md. Nurul Amin Khan, is providing extensive support to mosques, madrasas, orphanages, families with dependent daughters, medical assistance, and distribution of educational materials in various social and humanitarian works.
The founder and president of the foundation, prominent Saudi Arabian expatriate businessman Md. Nurul Amin Khan, is working tirelessly for the welfare of the society by holding important positions including the president of Budhanti Union Expatriate Welfare Organization and Bijoynagar Upazila Expatriate Welfare Organization, as well as the advisor and president of various social, humanitarian and religious organizations.
