Amtali police station arrested two persons including Gaza and Yaba in Amtali, Barguna.
At a press conference of Amtali police station yesterday at 12:00 noon, police said this information.
According to the sources of Amtali police station, on the basis of secret information, 2 kg Gaza and Zakir Hossain were arrested with 10 pitch yaba pills after raiding the kitchen of Monir Padar.
At around 1:15 am on Wednesday night, drug dealer Monir Pada from Chawla village and SI Shahidul Islam along with his partner and force led by SI A Jalil, SI Azizur Rahman, ASI Jasim Sikder and ASI Mahbub Alam along with the force during the purchase of drugs (yaba). arrested them.
The arrested are Monir Payda (35), son of Chhattar Payda of Chawla village of Atarogachia union of the upazila and Md Zakir Hossain (37), son of deceased Kader Mallik of Viala Bunia village of Sadar union.
The police said that the accused had been dealing in drugs in the area for a long time. We were able to arrest them by carrying out raids on the basis of intelligence. The campaign against drugs continues.
Amtali police station officer-in-charge (OC) Md. Ariful Islam said that two drug dealers were arrested with 2 kg of ganja and 10 pitch yaba on the basis of secret information. A case has been filed against the arrested persons under the Narcotics Act and they have been handed over to the court.
