The founding anniversary of the Daily Present Times was celebrated with a colorful program including a discussion meeting and cake cutting in Comilla. The program was held at the Comilla Press Club auditorium on Saturday (February 1) at 4 pm. The program began with the recitation of the Quran at the beginning of the program. Later, a cake was cut at the Press Club auditorium after the discussion meeting. At this time, everyone congratulated the country’s popular national daily Present Times on the occasion of its 10th anniversary. Everyone wished the Daily Present Times all the best.
The discussion meeting was chaired by Professor Masud Majumdar, the in-house correspondent of the Daily Present Times, and the guest of honor was Assistant Commissioner Shri Ratan Kumar Dutta, while Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Central Working Committee and Shura members and Comilla Metropolitan Ameer Kazi Deen Mohammad were present as the chief guests. The welcome address was delivered by the editor-in-chief of the Daily Present Times, Omar Faruk Jalal, and the publisher, Shah Zaman Hridoy.
The event was moderated by the Comilla District Representative of the Daily Present Times, Md.
